The New Jersey Division of Fire Safety (NJDFS) is reminding residents to remove Christmas trees from their homes promptly after the holiday season. MONMOUTH COUNTY - It's not even Christmas yet, but the state wants you to know that while your fresh cut Christmas tree may be beautiful and smell great, once its needles start to dry out, it can become a deadly fire hazard.
